Simply Vegan Foods accepts Web orders from all 50 states and territories of the Unites States of America. The shipping carriers utilized for all US-bound destinations are the United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service of America (UPS), or private consignment. All addressable destinations directly served by USPS may be shipped to, including curbside mailboxes, post-office (PO) boxes, and domestic or overseas US military addresses (APO/FPO designation required). UPS carrier service may only be elected for destinations bearing a US physical street address, or qualified PO Boxes with an existing Street Addressing Service. At this time, customers requiring delivery to nations outside the defined, serviced region – US and its territories – will be unable to successfully place orders on Simply Vegan Foods.
USPS carrier parcels are shipped under an expedited, non-guaranteed 1–3 day delivery window. The majority of the population within the continuous US may anticipate receiving orders within 2 days after the shipment date. Sunday delivery is not a standard USPS delivery day and therefore is a day excluded from the estimated delivery window.
A day-definite guaranteed 1–5 day delivery window is the transit time for UPS shipped parcels. Sunday delivery is not a standard UPS delivery day and therefore is a day excluded from the estimated delivery window. Saturday delivery is available to residential-classified destinations in select localities; otherwise Saturday is additionally excluded from the estimated delivery window, stipulated with the provided tracking locator.
Quoted and assessed (invoiced) shipping rates are determined by a combination of factors, including: designated common carrier; respective carrier's zone pricing for parcel distribution; gross package weight; dimensional weight of the parcel; dimensional scaling of non-rectangular shipping cartons; number of parcels; and value-added shipment services, as authorized.
By default, no signature is required as a condition for delivery. The shipping carrier will notify the named recipient in the event an authorized signee must be present for package delivery.
Tracking locator information will be electronically forwarded to the customer once the parcel has been tendered to the common carrier. An expected delivery date will be specified within the tracking information. Additionally, the customer may subscribe to electronic transit and delivery updates, courtesy of USPS or UPS, where applicable.
In situations of a missing parcel(s), recorded as delivered by the carrier, the customer must report such claims directly to the carrier for resolution. Simply Vegan Foods is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once marked as delivered.
In the event of a partially or wholly damaged order suspected to be attributed to substandard common carrier package handling, such claims must be promptly documented and reported to Simply Vegan Foods. At the time of receipt, it is expected the customer will obtain photographic evidence documenting the damage, including viewpoints of the goods and packaging contained-within the parcel itself, for potential claims to be processed.
Exemptions to this policy will be electronically communicated to the customer in the event of divergent conditions.
